NHS 111 / Out of Hours Urgent Contact
From Tuesday 10th November 2015 ALL out of hours urgent telephone contact to the Practice will be provided through NHS 111. All patients requiring urgent medical assistance or advice between 6.30pm and 8am Monday to Friday & between 6.30pm Friday evening to 8am Monday morning should contact NHS 111 by dialling 111.
All patients contacting the surgery out of hours will be advised to contact NHS 111.
The service is a free service available nationally and should be used for urgent requests. All emergency health needs should continue through dialling 999.
Named Accountable GP
All our patients have now been allocated a named accountable GP. In most circumstances this will be the GP you registered with. The staff will inform you who your named GP is the next time you attend the surgery. If you would prefer to change your named GP please just ask a member of the admin team to change this for you to your preferred choice.
Please note that whilst you have a named accountable GP you still have the ability to choose any of the GP's when making an appointment, the staff will offer you either the next available appointment or the next available appointment with your choosen GP.
